Wormhole (W) is an open source blockchain connectivity platform powering applications across Web3. We’ll be airdropping its native token, W, and you have the opportunity to receive a share of it.
Until 9 April, buy and hold at least US$20 of CRO in the Crypto.com App to claim your share of US$200,000 of W.
The top 15,000 users ranked by CRO Net Buys* will be airdropped W. The more you buy, the more W you stand to win. Purchases with fiat or cryptocurrency both count toward your total Net Buy amount!

How do I participate?
- Sign up or sign in to the Crypto.com App (Guide)
- Go to the campaign section on the home screen and tap W Airdrop Campaign > Join Now
- Perform at least US$20 of CRO Net Buys during the Campaign Period — buy more, earn more
Eligible participants will receive W rewards based on the amount of their CRO Net Buys during the Campaign Period, relative to the total respective CRO Net Buy pool, i.e. US$200,000 of W, at the end of the Campaign Period.
Example:
Tony purchases US$2,000 worth of CRO during the Campaign Period. He is within the top 15,000 users ranked by CRO Net Buys.
At the end of the Campaign Period, the total amount of the CRO Net Buy pool from all eligible users are as follows:
CRO: US$968,000
Therefore, he will receive around US$413 worth of W based on the following calculation:
413.22 = (2,000 / 968,000) x 200,000
*‘Net Buys’ as stated herein shall mean the total US$ value of CRO purchases in the Crypto.com App minus the total US$ value of a user’s sales and/or withdrawals of CRO on or from the Crypto.com App, which may be expressed as follows:
- CRO: Net Buys = Buys (CRO) – Sells (CRO) – Withdrawals (CRO)
- CRO Buy Volume: Refers to the USD volume of CRO bought in the Crypto.com Main App by any of the following methods:
- Debit/Credit Card Purchases
- From Fiat Wallet
- From Crypto Wallet (e.g. ETH to CRO conversion)
- Apple/Google Pay
- CRO Sell: Refers to the USD volume of CRO sold in the Crypto.com Main App
- CRO Withdrawals: Refers to the USD volume of CRO withdrawn from Main App or Exchange, pay and send transactions are also counted as withdrawals
- The exchange rate of USD:CRO is calculated at the moment of the transaction
**The reward is calculated using the following formula:
- CRO Reward = (Participant’s CRO Net Buys ÷ Total Net Buys in the CRO Pool) x Total W Allocation in the CRO Pool

- Participation in the campaign is strictly optional.

- The campaign is open only to users of the Crypto.com App having successfully completed the identification process by the end of the campaign period.
- Crypto.com will disqualify any entry from participants who do not meet the eligibility requirements as solely and absolutely determined by Crypto.com. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, users who undertake any trades that are executed through bad trading practices, including but not limited to wash trades, false trading, self-dealing, or trades that display any attributes of market manipulation shall be disqualified from the campaign.
- By participating in the campaign, the participant acknowledges having read the Crypto.com Global Marketing Privacy Notice, which is published at https://crypto.com/privacy/marketing, and acknowledges that Crypto.com will use the information provided for the purposes of identity verification, assessing the participant’s eligibility to participate in the campaign and reward redemption.
- Rewards will be distributed to eligible recipients’ Crypto.com App Crypto Wallet in W tokens by 23 April 2024.
- Crypto.com reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the campaign mechanics or rules at any time at our sole discretion without prior notice to you.
- In the event of any dispute, Crypto.com reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding the campaign.
