I was instructed not to share my secret phrase with anybody after opening my crypto wallet but I was in love so I shared mine😫

I recently got married and I have to share everything with my husband.

*side eye*

I opened a crypto wallet before I got married and I have to share everything with my husband because I trust him(Cryptography in blockchain) By sharing everything, I had to give him access to my crypto wallet but he couldn't access my wallet.

Here's why👇 Let's briefly discuss about the types of cryptography. There are two types of cryptography;
1. Symmetric Key Cryptography
2. Asymmetric Key Cryptography

I'd focus on Symmetric on this post.

Symmetric Key Cryptography: A type of cryptography that uses only one key(which is used for both encryption and decryption) Shey na marriage cause this thing😂 To give my husband access to my crypto wallet, I'll have to share my key with him. Remember Symmetric Key Cryptography uses just one key and that key is my SECRET PHRASE.

A secret phrase is a sequence of words generated by a cryptocurrency wallet during its setup process. This phrase serves as a backup mechanism to restore access to the wallet and recover funds in case the original wallet is lost, damaged, or inaccessible.

It consists of 12 to 24 words in a specific order, this phrase is crucial for wallet security and should be kept confidential. If someone gains access to your secret phrase, they can potentially access and control your cryptocurrency funds.

I shared my wallet address and pin with him but he still couldn't access it and in order for him to decrypt it, he must get that same key(secret phrase) so I shared it. He got the key and was able to access my crypto wallet.

Without the key, it's impossible to get access to he wallet.
