This AI tool is called Alpaca, a new AI image generating platform with an awesome feature called chroma, a canvas type AI image generating platform giving you more control of how your images come out bringing your ideas to digital life greater.

Before we continue, Alpaca offers two options on how to use the platform. You can either use the app via their website or if you're an Adobe Photoshop user, you can also use it as a PS plugin which gives you more creative control on your generated images. But in this blog post we’ll just focus more on how to use it via their website.

So if you're looking for simple ways to create AI generated images, continue reading on.

To get started, simply create an account by heading over to their website, www.alpacaml.com. Be sure to read the terms and conditions to know the do's and don'ts of using the platform. After creating an account, you’ll be directed to your dashboard with 100 free credits that will be refreshed everyday.

Main Dashboard

As you can see in your dashboard, there are only a few options here, chroma and their photoshop plugin, We will use the Chroma feature in this post.

Chroma dashboard

Now on the chroma dashboard, this is where the AI magic happens:

Image Box: You have two image boxes on the center of the chroma dashboard, the left box is where you can freely draw, import images and use layers to influence the final output of the image. On the right is where the output will appear.

When drawing on the image box, you can use your drawing tablet also to make it easier for you to draw.

Presets Tab: This tabs helps the AI on how much close the output will be influenced from the data you input from the left. From the pro option which means how close the output is from the image in the left to the wild option how freely the out put image will be generated.

Tools Tab: Located at the left of your chroma dashboard, these are the simple set set of tools to help you draw the image you want.

Description Box: Just like all AI image generation platforms, this is where you type anything you want to guide the AI on what image you want. You can also click the icon on the left for advanced options for more control of the final output.

Layers: Located at the top right of your chroma dashboard, you can add more layers for more control on making the base image on the left.

Input Examples: These are just sample images to inspire or guide you into creating images.

Using The Platform:

There are multiple ways on how to generate images using Alpaca Ai on the web.

Text-To-Image - You can use Alpaca as a simple text-to-image AI generator like other AI image platforms out there. Just write a prompt on the text box without drawing in the image box.

Text-to-image

Image-To-Image - You can also generate images by simply drawing on the image box or importing an image without writing anything on the text box. Note that when importing an image without adding text prompts, this only changes the style of the image imported.

Image-to-image

Combination - To maximize your creativeness, using text prompts and image box is better as you get closer to getting the image output that you want. You can also import an image or multiple images, use layers and draw atop of it.

Combination

You can also reuse your generated image within the platform as a basis for a new image output. Once you created an image from text just hover your mouse on the output image and an arrow will appear between the two image boxes. Simply click the arrow and your output image will now be the reference image. You can draw over the image and add more details on the prompt description box to make a new image.

Another way to use Alpaca is to change the style of your uploaded image or photo. Simply upload the image or photo you want using the toolbox on the right side of your chroma dashboard and type a prompt in the description box.

Finally, to download the image you created, simply hover your mouse on the output box. An icon with three dots will appear. Click the icon and you will be given two options to download, the generated output only or a side by side comparison. Your download will be in PNG format.

As you can see, the Alpaca platform offers a simple yet powerful tool to create awesome images to help you with your projects. Whether you're a seasoned artist looking to level up your creative process or a noobie creator eager to explore new possibilities, Alpaca is here to elevate your artistry.

As a free user, getting 100 free generations a day is enough to create your masterpiece but if you think 100 credits is not enough you can upgrade to their premium plans to get unlimited generations plus other features if your using Alpaca in Adobe Photoshop.
