Who is Sacha Boey?

Sacha Gaston Boey was born on September 13, 2000, in Montreuil, France. He began his football career at the youth level with Romainville in 2011 and went through the youth ranks of Red Star and Rennes from 2012 to 2019.

Boey made his professional debut with Rennes in a 2–2 Ligue 1 tie with Toulouse FC on May 5, 2019. He played for Rennes II from 2018 to 2021, making 29 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
In October 2020, Boey joined Dijon on a season-long loan.

In July 2021, he signed a contract with Galatasaray until the end of the 2024-25 season. He scored a goal on his debut in a 1-1 draw against St Johnstone in the Europa League third qualifying round.

Boey became the champion in the Süper Lig in the 2022-23 season with the Galatasaray team. He scored his first Champions League goal for the club in a 2-2 draw against Copenhagen on 20 September 2023.

Bayern Munich’s sports director, Christoph Freund, praised Boey’s physical strength and defensive skills. The transfer fee for Boey’s move to Bayern Munich is estimated to be around 30 million euros.
