Rehiring Thomas Tuchel this summer would be the best way for Chelsea to correct Todd Boehly’s- Mauricio Pochettino is not the right manager for the Blues.
Thomas Tuchel is set to depart from Bayern Munich, and it seems like a no-brainer for Chelsea to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
“I feel crushed that my Chelsea journey has ended. This is a club where I belonged, both professionally and personally. I am proud to have been a part of this club’s history and whatever the future brings for me, the memories of the last 18 months will always be dear to me.”
That’s how Thomas Tuchel expressed his emotions after he was abruptly fired by Chelsea’s new owners just weeks into the 2022-23 season; a man who could have stayed in the job for a long time and become a legendary manager for Chelsea like Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger or Jurgen Klopp, cruelly and unexpectedly dismissed at the first hint of trouble with his new bosses.

By a strange coincidence - or a result of the managerial carousel - Chelsea may need a new manager this summer, just as Tuchel is looking for a new challenge. With Mauricio Pochettino on thin ice, Todd Boehly and his partners could have a chance to fix one of the worst mistakes of their ownership so far.
