Brittany Anne Snow, born on March 9, 1986, is an American actress who gained recognition for her role as Susan "Daisy" Lemay on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light from 1998 to 2001. For her performance, she won a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress and received nominations for two other Young Artist Awards and a Soap Opera Digest Award. Following her success on Guiding Light, Snow starred in the NBC drama series American Dreams from 2002 to 2005, earning nominations for a Young Artist Award and three Teen Choice Awards.


Snow's filmography includes roles in various films such as The Pacifier (2005), John Tucker Must Die (2006), Hairspray (2007), Prom Night (2008), Would You Rather (2012), and the Pitch Perfect film series (2012, 2015, 2017). She has also appeared in television series like Harry's Law (2011) and Almost Family (2019–2020).
Additionally, Snow is known for her involvement in the Love Is Louder movement, which aims to combat bullying in schools. The project is a part of the not-for-profit Jed Foundation. In March 2023, Snow made her directorial debut with the drama film Parachute, which premiered at the SXSW festival.


Brittany Anne Snow was born on March 9, 1986, and grew up in Tampa, Florida. She is the daughter of Cinda and John Snow and has a brother and a sister. Snow attended Gaither High School in Tampa.
She began her career at the age of three, modeling in a print ad for Burdines department stores. Snow gained early acting experience on CBS' soap opera Guiding Light, where she portrayed troubled teen Susan "Daisy" Lemay for three years. She also appeared as Meg Pryor in NBC's drama series American Dreams and played a neo-Nazi high school student named Ariel Alderman in the third season of Nip/Tuck.


In addition to her television roles, Snow has appeared in various films. She starred in the family comedy The Pacifier (2005) alongside Lauren Graham and Vin Diesel and played a key role in the teen romantic comedy John Tucker Must Die (2006). Snow also lent her voice to the video game Kingdom Hearts II and voiced Shizuku Tsukishima in the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart.
Snow's notable film credits include her role as Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray (2007), the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, and as Donna Keppel in the slasher film Prom Night (2008). She also appeared in the television series Gossip Girl as young Lily Rhodes in the episode "Valley Girls."
In 2011, Snow began appearing as a series regular in the first season of the legal drama Harry's Law. She also starred alongside Evan Ross in the thriller film 96 Minutes (2011).


In 2012, Brittany Snow starred in the musical comedy film Pitch Perfect, portraying a cappella singer named Chloe. She reprised her role in the sequel, Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), which received positive reviews and became the highest-grossing music comedy film of all time at that point. Snow returned once again for Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), which received mixed reviews but still performed well at the box office.
In addition to her film roles, Snow appeared in the sitcom Ben and Kate in 2012, playing the character Lila. She also portrayed Michelle in the comedy film The Late Bloomer (2016) and starred as Lucy in the action thriller Bushwick (2017).
Snow portrayed Blair Helms in Netflix's romantic comedy film Someone Great (2019). In her personal life, Snow announced her engagement to realtor and pro surfer Tyler Stanaland in February 2019, and they married in March 2020. However, the couple announced their separation via social media in September 2022.
She starred in filmmaker Ti West’s horror film X (2022) as Bobby-Lynne Parker. Additionally, Snow made her directorial debut with Parachute, which premiered at the SXSW festival in March 2023.


Brittany Snow has been actively involved in supporting various charitable organizations throughout her career. Some of the charities she has supported include Clothes Off Our Back, Declare Yourself, Do Something, Feeding America, Habitat For Humanity, Point Foundation, Red Cross, Soles4Souls, The Heart Truth, The Trevor Project, Stomp Out Bullying, and The Art of Elysium.
She has participated in events such as The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection fashion show during New York Fashion Week to raise awareness of heart disease in women. Snow has also supported initiatives like Soles4Souls's Barefoot Week, aiming to provide footwear to those in need around the world.


Snow is the co-creator of the Love is Louder movement, which addresses various social issues such as bullying, body image, discrimination, and depression. The movement, established in partnership with the not-for-profit Jed Foundation, has been instrumental in providing support and resources to individuals, campuses, and communities.
In recognition of her efforts to raise awareness about mental health issues, Snow received a Special Recognition Voice Award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in 2015.
Additionally, Snow co-founded the charity September Letters in 2016 with her friend Jesper Guest, aiming to raise awareness about mental health challenges and promote meaningful communication by encouraging people to share their stories. They launched their collections book, titled September Letters, on May 23, 2023, furthering their mission to support mental health awareness.


Brittany Snow has graced the covers of various magazines, showcasing her versatility and appeal. Some of the magazines she has been featured on include CosmoGirl, Teen, Maxim, Entertainment Weekly, People, YM Prom, Miami Living, and Vegas. Additionally, she has participated in pictorials for publications such as Zooey Magazine, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, and InStyle.
In addition to her magazine appearances, Snow has also been featured in television commercials for prominent brands such as McDonald's, Busch Gardens, and Lipton, further extending her presence in popular media.
Furthermore, Snow has made appearances on the runway, notably walking at the Just Dance fashion show on September 12, 2013, showcasing her fashion sense and style.
