The basic details of the crafting system for the turn-based Solana-based cyberpunk RPG have been revealed. Players will be able to craft weapons, armor and Cyberconstructs using the game's governance token, $HGT.
The developers of Project Hive, a turn-based cyberpunk RPG on the Solana network, have revealed details on the game’s crafting system in a recent Telegram announcement post.
In this play-to-earn 3D title, players will be able to craft a variety of different weapons and armor, paving the way for new class and sub-class abilities. Aside from these two item types, they’ll also be able to craft a Cyberconstruct, an in-game character that has no stats on its own, but are instead given from the weapons and armor it equips. These items not only affect the character’s stats, but the character’s class as well. There is a limited amount of Cyberconstructs that a player can store on one account. Weapons and armor, as well as Cyberconstructs, are crafted using the game’s $HGT governance token.
When crafting armor or a weapon, players have to pick from one of 6 different categories, after which a random item is created within the selected category, donning a ‘Poor’ quality type while also having a random set of attributes. There’s also a value from 0 to 1 added to the item, which shows the player how close or far the item is to being the best it can be. The newly-crafted item can be upgraded by merging it with another item of the same quality, thus improving it using $HGT.
Made in Unreal Engine 5, Project Hive is currently available for download in beta for Windows PCs on the game’s website. The full game, slated for a Q4 2022 release, will feature a PvE campaign and PvP gameplay, with players completing daily tasks and beating each other to earn either $HGT, $SOL or the uncapped main game token, $IGT.
