Although blockchain technology is still unclear to most people today, several prominent organizations in the United States are embracing it.

Bitcoin has evolved from a vague virtual coin used by a minority of the population to a payment system and currency that millions of people believe will be the future monetary system.

The following are the leading players who accept cryptocurrency:

1. Microsoft Inc.
In addition to allowing cryptocurrency to be used to fund a Microsoft account, the software business also permits its use for other services. With Bitcoin, you may pay for Xbox Live, Microsoft software, games, and other digital content.

2. Paypal
In addition to purchasing and selling cryptocurrencies, Paypal customers in the United States can utilize bitcoin at retailers who accept Paypal. The accepted cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and Ethereum.

3. AT&T
In 2019, AT&T stated it was the first cell carrier to accept cryptocurrency payments. It accomplishes this using the third-party payment processor BitPay. Customers can choose BitPay when paying with Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency.

4. Starbucks
Starbucks' partnership with third-party payment software Bakkt enables the usage of cryptocurrency to purchase a cup of morning joe. Through the Bakkt App, you can buy, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies, and you can use Bitcoin to pay at a number of Bakkt partners, including Starbucks.

Additionally, Bakkt has partnered with Cantaloupe, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and, most recently, Quiznos to enable customers to pay using Bitcoin, loyalty points, or airline rewards.

5. KFC
KFC Canada has temporarily accepted Bitcoin in exchange for a "Bitcoin Bucket." The company received payment via BitPay, and the bucket was to be sent directly to the customer's residence.

6. Overstock
Overstock, a well-known American online shop that sells high-priced things at a discount owing to overstocking, has collaborated with Coinbase to accept Bitcoin for online orders.
