A month ago I wrote my guide on how to potentially qualify for a Scroll airdrop, and pointed out that the mainnet may still be several months away based on the roadmap that included a Scroll Sepolia testnet phase. My speculation turned out to be correct, as Scroll did follow the published roadmap and has recently launched a new phase of their testnet on Sepolia before launching their mainnet.

With that in mind, I wanted to publish an updated list of testnet transactions you can follow on the new Scroll Sepolia testnet:

Get Test ETH on Scroll Sepolia

You can use your favorite Sepolia test ETH faucet, such as Sepolia Faucet, to snag some testnet assets to begin with. You'll then need to bridge your test ETH from the Sepolia testnet to the Scroll Sepolia testnet by using the official Scroll bridge in order to interact with the platforms below. You can also request test ETH directly on Scroll Sepolia from the BWare Labs Scroll Faucet. (Each faucet mentioned here can be used once a day.)

Swap on Symbiosis

Symbiosis is one of the first testnet swapping platforms that added the new Scroll Sepolia testnet in addition to the previous Scroll Alpha testnet. At the time of writing, you can make swaps among several testnets including the two Scroll testnets, the ZetaChain testnet, and Goerli.

Swap and Add Liquidity on Vooi

You can make additional swaps and add liquidity to pools on the Scroll Sepolia testnet using Vooi. To interact with the platform, be sure to claim your additional testnet assets from their faucet located on the swap page.

Swap and Add Liquidity on Izumi

Izumi is another platform where you can make additional swaps and add liquidity with a variety of other token options on the Scroll Sepolia testnet. Other testnet functions may be added in the future based on the availability of other tools that can currently be utilized with other testnets on the site.

Supply and Borrow Assets on Aave

You can also supply and borrow various testnet assets on Aave. Be sure to visit the faucet page to claim the additional testnet assets to utilize on the site. (Make sure your connected to Scroll Sepolia when you claim.)

Summary

These are the first five ways I've found to make frequent testnet transactions on Scroll Sepolia in hopes of a potential future airdrop. Have you found any other platforms that are currently supporting the Scroll Sepolia testnet? If so, I'd love to hear about what you're using - referral links are always welcome in my comments!
