The OpenFabric Roadmap for 2024 was disclosed, and there are many key points that made me look forward! First thing I noticed was the AI wallet, the pioneer asset management tool that will add AI superpowers in every pocket. Mainnet v.0.5 will bootstrap this year, and GPU mining will be activated.

The growth of the ecosystem requires validators, and the select group will be onboarded in 2024. More exciting stuff? AI IDE is the name given to the real time browser-based development medium for creating AI apps, while AI Xplorer v.2.0 will be the AI-powered crypto marketplace.

OpenFabric successfully launched the $OFN token, and continues the AI revolution! Four IDOs took place on ChainGPT, Enjinstarter, Seedity and PoolzFinance, with listings on Kucoin and PancakeSwap.

I don't do IDOs because I learned from past events that more often the price will dump once the token gets listed on CEXs or DEXs. To be honest I was surprised that $OFN didn't follow that pattern, which shows strong potential for the project.

Better late than never! I bought a fair amount of $OFN tokens from PancakeSwap and locked them for one year. I found one freshly open pool and staked my tokens for 8.44% APY. It's not ground-breaking, but is neither negligible! I see the OpenFabric ecosystem perpetually improving and earing $OFN throughout the year was the best option.

If you joined the community last year, you probably done quests for gems! Early users got gems for loyalty, and I've used some of those gems to claim NFT whitelisting. The hustle never stopped, and I continued to complete quest for gems.

I finished 2023 on the 4th place of the leaderboard, and I would have been top with the 100 gems I spent for the whitelisting. I waited for an event that will let the fabricators use their gems... and the patience was repaid with not one but two campaigns!

The top 1000 most active community members were able to get extra $OFN as a reward for their hard work, and gem claiming was turned on! There were three claimable tiers, depending on the number of gems each user had.

The lowest claimable amount was 500 gems, exchangeable for 50 USDT. Those that worked hard and completed more quests were able to swap 700 gems for 70 USDT, and the true OGs where able to tap into the higher tier of rewards.

I had over 1000 gems and I was able to swap 900 of them for 140 USDT, sent directly to my Metamask wallet. Claimed $140 with my gems and received the crypto few days later. Time to add more $OFN in my portfolio?
