Lennox Claudius Lewis, CM, CBE (born September 2, 1965) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 1989 to 2003. He is a three-time world heavyweight champion, a two-time lineal champion, and the last heavyweight to hold the undisputed championship.
Lewis was born in London, England, to Jamaican parents. He moved to Canada at the age of 12 and represented Canada at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, winning a gold medal in the super heavyweight division.
Lewis turned professional in 1989 and quickly rose through the ranks of the heavyweight division. He won his first 21 fights, all by knockout, before challenging for his first world title in 1992.
Lewis defeated Donovan Ruddock for the WBC heavyweight title in 1992. He defended the title twice before losing to Oliver McCall in 1994.

Early life
