AMPERA FINANCE

1/ Today, we are excited to announce major milestones for the Ampera Foundation after 12 months of hard work! Based on our community's valuable feedback, we're introducing two distinct projects to better serve the crypto ecosystem: Ampera & Anvil.

2/ Now, Ampera will focus exclusively on the new era of digital payments, powered by AMP as its collateral token. Ampera intends to be the spark of a global, grassroots payments movement.

3/ AMP will continue being used as collateral for @FlexaHQ and other projects looking to decentralize transaction risk. Although AMP governance will sunset, the Grant Committee will continue to offer funding to projects advancing crypto payments.

4/ @anvil_xyz, the new protocol for issuing digital letters of credit, will be governed by the ANVL token. Anvil’s core contracts have completed multiple audits; all results will be published prior to mainnet.

5/ Anvil is now in private testnet, allowing partners to start integration. A final audit to incorporate remaining protocol changes will be starting shortly. All interfaces will be open-sourced & available for anyone to fork & use.

6/ All ANVL tokens will be available for free claim (subject to vesting) by AMP stakers. If not all tokens are claimed, the remaining will be allocated for Anvil protocol, team, and community incentives. The Foundation will not offer ANVL tokens for sale.

7/ To support these ambitious efforts, @will_meister will continue as CTO of Anvil. Additionally, we are excited to welcome @zkilgore as a Technical Lead for the Foundation, bringing a wealth of crypto experience to both projects.
