Elon Musk, who continues to search for a country for his new investments and who was personally called by President Erdoğan, has turned his route to Argentina. Musk does not admire Argentina's leader Javier Milei, who describes himself as an “anarcho-capitalist”.

Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and social media platform X, praised Argentina's far-right President Javier Milei, whom he met for the second time in a month.

The two, who came together at the investors meeting in Los Angeles, had a sincere meeting that lasted an hour. Musk and Milei, who chatted for a long time, posed for the cameras with a smile.

Musk posted a photo taken with Milei with the caption, “Great meeting. I recommend investing in Argentina,” he shared with the note.

'WE BECOME THE MECCA OF THE WEST'

The Argentine leader discussed opportunities in technology and mining in his country with Elon Musk, who is looking for new investment opportunities around the world.

Speaking at an investment meeting organized by the Milken Institute, Milei said, “I am confident that Argentina has the conditions to become the new Mecca of the West.”

Musk and Milei met at the Tesla factory in Texas last month and said they got along very well because of their personal and ideological similarities.

In Argentina, the country with the highest inflation rate in the world, Milei, who describes himself as an “anarcho-capitalist”, has caused great reactions in the country with his shock therapy by cutting social spending.

ERDOĞAN ALSO INVITED

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had met with Elon Musk in New York, where he went for the UN General Assembly meetings in September, and called on him to “build a Tesla factory in Turkey”.

It is not yet clear which country Tesla, which has factories in China and Germany outside the US, will choose for the new factory.
