Now, lest you believe I'm a Time Lord from the Future, I'd want to clarify why I'm here.

For completeness, I will say that I have traveled to the Future.

To forecast the future, I've combined knowledge from the past with current data; this gives me a good idea of what will happen in the future.

People leave hints about their future route all over the place.

War, the murder of a prominent member of society, natural catastrophes, and other similar calamities are all examples of hard forks.

However, the journey of humanity reveals a foreseeable end if attentively examined.

We all live in a future-oriented environment because humans continuously strive to forecast what the future holds.

Appear at what's happening now and attempt to forecast how our lives will look shortly.

In other words, this is a mental method of time travel. In other words, not only am I a time traveler but so are you: We Are All Time Travelers.

Mental time travel may be immensely beneficial to our survival and well-being.

However, do you recall the hard fork I stated earlier? While traveling across time in one's mind might be beneficial, it can also be damaging to others.

A person's outlook on the Future is likely clouded by their inability to concentrate on anything except negative possibilities.

Those who don't take the erudite attitude seriously would be deprived of the knowledge that might help us better grasp reality.

In what way is the Metaverse a place of confinement for the mind? Future technology will be based on the Metaverse, or Web3, as it's called in the industry.

There's no denying it. However, the consequences Web3 will have on the human mind and experience are not being examined in depth by the general public.

An utterly digital world will replace the human experience in Web3 and the Metaverse.

The Real-life Version of Matrix

My vision for the Future shows that individuals will be able to enter the Metaverse quickly in the years to come.

Consider this if you believe the human mind is too advanced to be misled into silently transitioning to a virtual world.

There are many things in our lives we know are harmful, but we've accepted them as usual since they've been widely promoted.

If it's offered to them by their favorite news station, politician, celebrity, or online influencer, they'll take it without question.

The Metaverse is

To the uninitiated, the Metaverse is and will continue to be, marketed as the next Big Thing, complete with all of the accompanying FOMO, or Fear Of Missing Out, necessary for widespread adoption.

The Future showed in the film Ready Player One is similar to what I describe here. Almost everyone should be able to see by now that movies may be a valuable tool for forecasting the future.

Moviemakers often make predictions and attempt to convey those predictions to moviegoers.

If you've already concluded that movies are nothing more than a work of fiction, I challenge you to take a closer look.

On the giant screens of the movie theaters, gadgets that we use every day were displayed and prophesied.

Gadgets such as Google watches, smartphones, and remote controls have been foreseen in future movies. 

Innovative home technology and bionic limbs have also been prophesied.

As a Wrap-Up

Humanity's curiosity about the Future may be ingrained in our DNA, as we like wondering what's in store for us.

Even if I hadn't written this piece, Web3 and the Metaverse would still be here if we learned anything from history.

It's time to start planning for the Metaverse if it will become a reality shortly.

How will people live in this virtual reality in a future where digital items, services, ownership, and relationships are governed by a place that is barely linked to the actual world?

This is important to keep in mind since the results will undoubtedly alter what we've learned so far.

I'm not going to round off this post in the traditional manner with a final remark.
